Seahawks OT Charles Cross signs four-year, fully-guaranteed rookie deal

Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Charles Cross has finally signed his rookie contract, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Per Rapoport, Cross gets a four-year, fully-guaranteed deal worth $21.384 million, including a $12.73 million signing bonus and a fifth-year option.

Cross, the ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, is the final top 10 pick to sign his deal.

Cross started at left tackle for Mississippi State for the last two years, where he earned SEC All-Freshman Team and First-Team All-Conference honors. As last year’s left tackle Duane Brown remains unsigned, Cross figures to step in as Seattle’s starting left tackle.

The Seahawks have gotten younger at the tackle position this offseason with the additions of Cross (21), who replaces Brown (36), and Abraham Lucas (23), who replaces departed right tackle Brandon Shell (30).
