Scottish war hero who strapped himself to helicopter in daring mission goes missing

Police are appealing for help to trace a Scottish war hero who was last seen at Edinburgh Waverley.

Former Royal Marine Gary Robinson once strapped himself to an Apache helicopter to help rescue a fallen comrade in Afghanistan in a daring mission.

He was last seen at around 6am on Saturday, May 13 at the station. Officers say concern is growing for the welfare of the 43-year-old, who may have travelled south to the Dorset area where he has links, reports the Record.
