A Scottish pensioner was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a horror fall in holiday hotspot, Malta.
Maltese emergency services scrambled to the scene after an 81-year-old fell from a set of steps in Triq il-Mediterran in the capital, Valletta, at 2.15pm Monday, May 8.
Medics attended and the man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where his current condition is unknown.

Speaking to Malta Today the Malta Police Force said that an investigation is currently underway.
Inquiries remain ongoing.
