A Scottish grandfather requiring heart bypass surgery has been “trapped” in a foreign hospital as his family’s finances are drained.
Jim Murray, 71, became unwell a few days into his fortnight holiday in Benidorm with wife Liz in April earlier this year.
The pensioner was taken to the Hospital Clínica Benidorm intensive care unit as he was suspected to have tragically suffered a heart attack after catching the Covid-19 virus.
