A Scottish The Chase contestant has been branded an "embarrassment" by viewers due to his quick-snap decision on the show on Monday night (February 13).
Alan, a piano tuner from North Ayrshire, joined Suzi, Theo and Fey on the popular ITV competition programme to battle against the Chaser for a high cash prize.
London-born Suzi and Theo, originally from Denbighshire, both exited the show early on, with Fey making it to the final round.
Alan was up last, and landed £8,000 as his middle-tier choice on the show. The Chaser then gives him a higher and lower offer, to see if he would take the chance to bag a huge prize.

He was given a huge chance to make lots of money, as the Chaser give him an offer of £62,000. However, Alan was quick to answer when he chose his original offer of £8,000.
As he made a mistake-free route to the final round, people were disappointed that he didn't go for the higher offer.
Viewers flocked to social media to share their opinion on Alan's decisions, as one Twitter user wrote: "An embarrassment to Alans everywhere. Low offer enabler #thechase."
Another said: "#TheChase Fs Alan."
And a third wrote: "Hope Alan doesn’t come on twitter tonight !#TheChase."
More comments read: "#thechase they all could have gone higher and still lost and will lose the final."
However, others congratulated the Scottish contestant in his expertise in answering questions. One Twitter user wrote: "Well done, Alan. They’ve got a good chance here #TheChase."
And another added: "Alan's come to win money, Fey's just happy to be there. #TheChase."
But then, as Alan and Fey ended up losing out, one Twitter user had this to say: "Oh Alan #thechase."
The Chase returns to our screens on Tuesday, February 14 at 5pm on STV. Catch-up episodes are available on the STV player now.
