This year's AccelerateHER UK awards have named 12 Scottish finalists across four categories.
The three finalists in the Science and MedTech category are Karen Gardiner of Purple Orchid Health, a specialist reproductive health company supporting women with urology and gynaecology conditions; Jodie Sinclair of Theo Health, a healthtech company that is looking to revolutionise recovery from injury; and Ishani Malhotra of Carcinotech, which manufactures 3D-printed living tumours using patient-derived cancer stem cells.
The FinTech, Data Science and Cybersecurity finalists are Anne Widdop of The VR Hive, which uses artificial intelligence to deliver adaptive learning environments; Charmaine Lo of Actelligent, a platform to help investors act intelligently in every stage of the investment process; and Lynne Darcey Quigley of Know-it, which streamlines the credit control process.
