Scott Robertson has opened up on the Scott Brown factor for joining Fleetwood Town as he revealed his quick 'bond' with Celtic diehard Shaun Rooney.
The former Hoops skipper raided his old club to snap up his former team-mate yesterday with the youngster putting pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Cod Army. He's no stranger to the English Leagues having previously spent time on loan south of the border. He reckons his experiences both at a huge club like the Scottish champions and his time out on loan will help him deliver in his new adventure. He is raring to go and just can't wait to get consistent minutes and games under his belt.
He told Fleetwood Town's website : “I am really pleased to be here, and I just can’t wait to get games under my belt. With the connection of Celtic and Scott Brown, he played a big part in me coming to Fleetwood. When I first spoke to him, it was positive, we got on and it was just a matter of getting the deal done.
