Scott Disick is reportedly dating Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly after being spotted hand in hand just hours before his car crash.
The long-time pals were spotted grabbing lunch in Beverly Hills last week, just days after Disick had been seen leaving celebrity hotspot Nobu with a mystery brunette. This isn't the first time the Maggie May singer and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star have been romantically linked, as the pair were faced with speculation following Disick's split from Kourtney Kardashian in 2015.
The couple were spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, August 21, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail. Shortly after the outing, Us Weekly confirmed that Disick, 39, was involved in a collision while driving a Lamborghini SUV.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Bureau, the reality star was behind the wheel when the solo accident occurred in Calabasas. “It was determined the primary cause of the traffic collision was speed and alcohol was not a factor,” the LASD said in a press release on Monday, August 22.
“Mr. Disick suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical treatment. He was picked up from the scene by family members and his vehicle was towed away per his request.”
Back in May, he went for an intimate dinner with Kimberly, her father Rod and her brother Sean in West Hollywood.
Scott and Kimberly previously sparked dating rumours in 2015 after his split with Kourtney Kardashian, but he denied speculation by revealing they're just old 'friends' and there was 'absolutely no truth to' the rumours. "They [the Stewarts] introduced Scott to Kourtney," Alana Stewart told People at the time. "I was there when it happened, so I can tell you they're all great pals."
The father-of-three has had a close friendship with the Stewart clan for years before dating Kimberly, and even enlisted her services to help clean his pantry earlier this year. Scott posted a video of Kimberly, who runs the organisational company The Realm, sorting through his pantry with her dad Rod Stewart to his Instagram Stories.
"That is some pantry Kim that you have made...get to work!" Scott said in the video. "At least it’s Rodrick approved," he added. Kimberly also posted a shot of Rod admiring the newly organised space to her Instagram account. "@sirrodstewart in his realm @therealm_ks @letthelordbewithyou #happyfathersday," she captioned the shot.
Scott has three children with Kourtney, his ex of 10 years - son Mason, 12, daughter Penelope, 10, and son Reign, seven. The reality star has been keeping a low profile since Kourtney married Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker in May.
He appears to have taken a step back from the famous family as he made fewer appearances in their Hulu series, The Kardashians. However, he did discuss his dating life and potential romances on the show.
“If I want to find somebody real, serious and someone I would actually want to spend my life with, then it would have to be somebody [more age appropriate]. When you are with an equal you have to go back and forth,” he told Khloe Kardashian. “I think it is a big step for me. But not over 30,” he added jokingly.
“I don’t care. Whatever it is. If I love somebody, it doesn’t matter their age. … I’m not sure about that.”
