A Scottish woman who was diagnosed with a brain tumour after collapsing on a petrol garage forecourt has urged those with worrying symptoms to see their doctor. Jade McMaster, 31, from Glasgow, had a full seizure on a petrol forecourt in October 2017 and was diagnosed with a brain tumour on her left temporal lobe shortly afterwards.
She had previously put symptoms of migraines and light sensitivity down to her lifestyle. New figures showed there has been a 30% rise in diagnoses of brain tumours since 2002.
Five years later, Ms McMaster says more people need to be aware of the symptoms. She said: "I could have so easily had that seizure when driving, which is a scary thought.
