Scots teenager missing since early hours of Tuesday sparks police appeal as concerns grow

A Scots teenager has gone missing from her Edinburgh home in the early hours of Tuesday, sparking an urgent police search.

Carly Rose Campbell was last seen at her Newington home in the city at around 12.30am.

The 13-year-old has not been spotted since and there are growing concerns for her welfare as cops have been unable to make contact with her.

Carly is described as a white female, medium build, 5ft 5in with dyed dark shoulder-length hair.

She was wearing a black Canada Goose Jacket with a fur hood, ripped blue denim jeans, black vans baseball boots when she vanished.

She was also carrying a black handbag.

Officers are now appealing for the public's help as part of their efforts to trace the youngster.

Anyone who may have seen Carly since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0648 of 12th April 2022.
