Scotland is not short of a stunning location or two with plenty of things for locals and tourists to do and see.
Whether it's a trip to a well-known location or off the beaten track to find the hidden gems you've been dreaming about, our wee country has a lot to offer.
And proving our point is one photographer who has shared "absolutely stunning" drone images of a beach on the North Coast 500 driving route that he says is a "must-stop location".

Taking to Facebook, Alex Shute Photography posted a collection of images taken at Achmelvich Beach near Lochinver.
Situated on the north-western edge of the mainland, the beach is known for its soft white sand and glistening water, reports the Daily Record.
And it's not hard to see why people have been stunned by this beach as the scenes are truly amazing, and with the warm weather creeping up on us, spring and summer is the perfect time to get your camera out and take some snaps of the location.
As well as its scenic views, the beach is a favourite among water skiers, windsurfers, and kayakers. It is also a popular fishing spot, with many species of fish found in the water—including cod, haddock, and mackerel.
Posting on the Scotland from the Roadside Facebook group, the photographer wrote: "Achmelvich Beach is an absolute stunner and one of the must stop locations on the NC500!"
Since being shared, the post has received more than 730 likes and 100 comments. Many fellow Facebook users were keen to share their thoughts on the "beautiful" photographs.
"What a gorgeous place," one said, while a second echoed: "Absolutely stunning!"
A third commented: "Such a perfect beach, of all the ones we visited last year, this was the winner."
Meanwhile, a fourth shared: "It really is beautiful... a little off the beat and track on NC500 but was definitely worth it, make sure you visit."
