ScotRail announces end of temporary timetable introduced amid covid surge

Train services are set to increase again as ScotRail recovers from staff shortages following a Covid surge over the festive period.

The temporary timetable introduced by the rail operator as it faced staff shortages amid the rapid spread of Omicron will end after the weekend.

ScotRail is set to return to its pre-Christmas timetable on Monday February 14, which delivers around 2,000 services a day.
