Scotland matches against Croatia & Portugal facing TV blackout

Neither of Scotland's upcoming Nations League fixtures have been selected for live television broadcast - yet.

Fans are facing a TV blackout for the matches against Croatia and Portugal, as things stand.

Steve Clarke's side will be looking to do better in this international break than they did in September, as they opened their Nations League campaign with two defeats to Poland and Portugal.

The Scots will face Croatia in Zagreb on Saturday evening, before welcoming Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva et all to Glasgow next Tuesday night.

In a similar predicament to last month though, no broadcaster has bought the rights to showcase the games so far, unless there is a last-minute change of heart.

Viaplay did have a deal with UEFA to beam all of Scotland's games until 2028.

However, this was binned, which has left all of the national team's fixtures up for grabs for rival channels.

Today, they confirmed that the matches will be free to view on their YouTube channel.

ITV stepped in at the last minute to broadcast the matches in September.

It remains to be seen if they, or any other broadcaster, will do the same this time around.
