The SNP has warned Scotland is stuck in a state of "Brexit limbo" as a new poll suggested the public has turned against leaving the EU. A survey by Opinium found 57 per cent of voters across the UK believed that Brexit was causing more problems than it solved.
The survey also found falling support among Tory voters, with one third losing 33 per cent all faith in Brexit. Only 22 per cent of those who intend to vote Conservative say Britain’s exit from the EU has solved more problems that it has created.
Alyn Smith, the SNP spokesman on Europe, said the poll was a "reality check" for Westminster parties and urged them to start planning to rejoin the EU.
