Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes has been admitted to hospital through illness.
The QPR ace is receiving treatment and being closely monitored by his club.
Dykes, 27, is in hospital after feeling sick and being substituted last week.
The striker played against Swansea last weekend but was subbed off in the second half.
Manager Neil Critchley revealed Dykes was unwell prior to the substitution.
The target man then missed the match against Hull.
QPR confirmed Dykes is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
A club social media update read: “Stay strong Lyndon.
"The club are closely monitoring Lyndon after he was admitted to hospital this week.
"We wish our number nine a quick and safe recovery.”
A Scotland national team message of support added: “Wishing you a safe recovery, Lyndon.”
After the draw with Swansea last week, Critchley had said of Dykes' condition: “Lyndon was sick at half-time.
"He wanted to continue but was obviously struggling. We didn’t want to bring him off but we had to.”
