Scotland forward Louise McMillan is back in the Glasgow line-up for today’s Celtic Challenge match against Wolfhounds - the first time the Warriors will have played at Scotstoun. The versatile former Hillhead/Jordanhill player has been used at lock by the national team of late, but lines up in the back row for Chris Laidlaw’s side, having been released by Saracens for the game against the Irish side.
Loosehead prop Ailie Tucker, who scored two late tries in last week’s defeat by Gwalia Lightning, is promoted to the starting line-up. In addition to those two changes up front there are another couple of alterations behind the pack, with Carla McDonald being named at full-back and Phaedra Snailham on the left wing.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh will have Scotland scrum-half Caity Mattinson in their ranks for the first time as they travel to Llanelli to play Brython Thunder tomorrow. The Gloucester-Hartpury No 9, who takes over the jersey from national team-mate Jenny Maxwell, is one of five changes to the side that lost at home to the Wolfhounds last time out.
Edinburgh have a win and a loss from their two games to date in the six-team competition. Glasgow have been beaten in both of their outings.
