Scotland covid rules change today as hospitality restrictions lifted

Last Tuesday Nicola Sturgeon announced further covid restrictions would be lifted in response to a stabilisation in omicron cases across Scotland.

When addressing MSPs in the Scottish Parliament, the First Minister said the country had 'turned a corner' in the ongoing battle against covid.

Yet despite a recent fall in coronavirus cases, Nicola Sturgeon urged caution as she admitted recent figures remain 'very high'.
