A schoolboy has been arrested after being found with a knife, a number of wraps of heroin and £1,000 in cash.
Merseyside Police has confirmed that officers executed a warrant on a property where they arrested a man and a teen. In the property officers found a number of wraps of heroin and a large amount of cash that is believed to be approximately £1,000.
As well as the drugs and cash, police said a knife was found secreted on a 16-year-old boy. Officers arrested a 38-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, both from Bootle, for drug supply offences and possession of criminal property.

Sefton Police Facebook page confirmed the news of the arrests. The post said: "Operation Pelican officers have this afternoon arrested a 38-year-old male and a 16-year-old male from the Bootle area for drug supply offences and possession of criminal property.
"Officers executed a search warrant at a premises, upon entry two males were detained. During a search numerous wraps of heroin were recovered and a large quantity of cash estimated to be approximately £1000.
"Also recovered was a knife which was found secreted on the 16-year-old male's person. Both males were arrested and are currently in police custody awaiting questioning."
