This school year is almost over and preparations are already being made for the new autumn term.
To that end, parents across the land have started looking for new school uniform ahead of the September start. And retailers are stocking a range of back-to-school kit for families to buy.
Here, we have summarised what's on offer at stores including Aldi, M&S, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons and Tesco, with some great deals to be had. Indeed, Aldi says it is offering the "cheapest school uniform deal' with £5 bundles up for grabs. So scroll down to see if any of these special offers or prices suit your needs.

Aldi
Aldi has unveiled its back to school range, offering a £5 uniform bundle, which includes two polo shirts, one sweatshirt and either trousers or a skirt. The clothing is available in sizes from four years to 12 years.
The uniform includes pleated classic pinafore (£6.99), Jersey pinafore, easy iron shirts (£3.99, 3 pack) for both boys and girls, as well as shoes, backpacks and lunch bags. The retailer offers a 150-day satisfaction guarantee. The kit is available to pre-order online and will be in stores from July 7.
The PE kit includes two-pack shorts priced at £4.49, round neck T-shirts for £1.89, two-pack leggings for £4.49 and £6.99 trainers in sizes 10 to 3. Click here to see other items available at the store.
M&S
Customers are being offered a 20% discount from Marks and Spencer (M&S). The offer of 20% off will be available in M&S stores and online between July 5 to 25 "with everything you need to kit out your little ones ahead of their return to the classroom".
Among the items customers can buy include short-sleeved shirts and blouses that feature an easy-iron finish as well as non-iron stain-resistant shirts. The retail firm's school shorts and trousers come with innovations such as adjustable hems or waistbands to allow for growth spurts and are made using crease-resistant material.
However, parents should note that the 20% off offer excludes hosiery, underwear, accessories, footwear, outerwear, lunch boxes and school bags. The uniform on sale includes three-pack pure cotton polo shirts from £7, two-pack crease resistant pinafores from £12, three-pack easy iron school shirts from £10, and two-pack pure cotton jumpers from £11. Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s is offering a discount on school uniform items in its Tu clothing range, as well as on kids and baby clothing - but shoppers will have to be quick to take advantage of this. The online-only sale, which sees children’s garments marked at 20% off their usual price, ends at midnight on Saturday, 9 July.
Three-packs of children’s white short-sleeved shirts are priced at £3.20 reduced from £4, while four-packs of grey shorts are going for £9.60 down from £12. Three-packs of white polo shirts have been reduced from £3.50 to £2.80, and a two-pack of grey trousers are now £5.60 after being cut from £7.
Gingham school dresses for ages three to 14 years are also available in a variety of colours, now priced at £4. A range of black school shoes are included in the sale too, including lace school trainers for £9.60 or self-fastening shoes for £12.80.
Asda
A wide selection of uniform styles is available from George at Asda. Items for girls include a 5 pack of white short sleeve polo shirts from £6 or a pack of two from £2.50, grey drop waist pleat pinafore dress (2 pack) from £9, black leggings (5 pack) from £10, grey or black permanent pleats skirt (2 Pack) from £7, as well as cardigans in various colours and of course PE clothing.
Boys can be kitted out with regular leg trousers (2 Pack) from £7, white slim fit short sleeve shirts (2 Pack) from £3, sweatshirts (2 Pack) from £5 and white long sleeve shirts (2 Pack) from £3.50. You can see what's available on their website.
Tesco
Tesco has a back-to-school range with various styles of trousers and tops in different colours as well as polo, long and short sleeve shirts. Items include £6 for a two pack of V-neck jumpers, £8 for a two pack of cardigans and £4 for a two pack of crew neck sweatshirts. Other offers include two long sleeve shirts from £3.50, two skirts from £6, and two pinafores from £10.
Their website says: "We've got quality covered with our 100-day guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the quality of your F&F school uniform, you can return it to a Tesco store (excluding Express stores) within 100 days with your proof of purchase for an exchange or refund. Our standard refund policy also applies and you also have additional rights to return uniform in the event it is faulty or damaged."
Morrisons
Uniforms are available in different styles and colours through Nutmeg, Morrison's clothing line. You can get white polo shirts (5 pack) for £6.50, cardigans (2 pack) for £8, 2 pack classic gingham dresses for £9.00, trousers 2 pack for £9, two pack long sleeve shirts for £5.50, amongst others things.
