THE perpetrators behind hundreds of hoax bomb threats targeting schools across Scotland and Northern Ireland may never be identified, experts have said, warning the operation could have been carried out “quickly and easily” by just one person.
On Monday, reports said up to 300 schools in Northern Ireland, almost 200 in Glasgow, and hundreds more across almost every area of Scotland received an email warning that a bomb had been placed on their premises.
