Scaffolding collapsed outside a building in a busy High Street area this afternoon.
The incident took place in Wavertree at around 12 midday today on Prince Alfred Road, at its junction with Wavertree High Street. No-one was injured, but two vans were left damaged following the incident.
Pictures taken at the scene showed the scaffolding frame had toppled over, and was now leaning at an angle. It is not clear at this stage what caused it to collapse.
