Taylor Swift fans are a savvy bunch and one Swiftie has shared how to find out where you are in the Ticketmaster queue.
Tickets to The Eras Tour are in hot demand after the megastar announced her UK dates. The American singer has been playing to sold-out stadiums across America this summer but thousands of disappointed fans have been left without a ticket.
Devoted Swifties will need to act fast and have luck on their side to get a spot. Luckily, fans abroad have been sharing their tips and tricks before the UK dates go on sale next week - including her two Edinburgh shows.
A fan called Sonia shared on her TikTok page how she managed to persevere and be patient in the Ticketmaster queue for the US tour, reports The Mirror.
In the video she tells fellow Swifties that they can check where they are in the online queue, even if the Ticketmaster queue says '2,000+' people.
"You're going to right click on your computer and click inspect and then it's going to pop up this side tab," Sonia instructed.
"Then you're gonna go to 'network' and then search the word 'status' and you have to click on 'preview', 'ticket', and it says my number and my expected wait time."
There is one catch - the right-click tool will not work for those buying tickets on their phones, only via a desktop computer.
Many fans praised Sonia's 'incredible' trick in the comments via her TikTok video which has received thousands of likes so far. One Taylor Swift fan said: "So cool, thank you." Another wrote said: "That's incredible."
One fan asked what would happen if they changed the queue number to 1 in the side tab and Sonia advised "not to mess with it."
Taylor Swift's UK tour dates and ticket sales
All registrants will receive an email on Wednesday, July 5 with further information on how to purchase Taylor Swift tickets via Ticketmaster and AXS.
Taylor pre-sales will begin on Monday, July 10 at 10am for London shows, followed by Edinburgh and Dublin at 10am on Tuesday, July 11 and Liverpool and Cardiff on Wednesday, July 12 also at 10am.

- Thursday 15 August – London, Wembley Stadium
- Friday 16 August – London, Wembley Stadium
- Saturday 17 August – London, Wembley Stadium
Taylor last toured the UK and Ireland in 2018 when she played six Reputation Tour shows at stadiums in London, Manchester and Dublin.
