Saudi Unemployment Rate Drops to 9.7% in Q2 of 2022

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said Thursday that the Saudi unemployment rate has decreased to 9.7% in the second quarter, compared to 10.1% in the first quarter of 2022.

According to GASTAT’s Labor Market Publication for the second quarter of 2022, the total unemployment rate (for Saudis and non-Saudis) has decreased to 5.8% in the second quarter, compared to 6.0% in the first quarter of 2022.
