The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulations to King Charles III after he was officially proclaimed Britain's new monarch, the Saudi Press Agency reported Saturday.
In his cable, the Saudi King praised the ties binding the two countries, and expressed willingness to further consolidate bilateral cooperation between the two states and their peoples, SPA said.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished King Charles III good health and UK’s people progress and prosperity.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a similar cable of congratulations to King Charles III, SPA added.
