The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of condolence to Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on the victims of a collision of two trains in the central town of Larissa.
At least 38 people were killed when a Greek passenger train collided head-on with a freight train late on Tuesday, derailing carriages which then burst into flames.
In his cable, King Salman condoled Sakellaropoulou and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a similar cable of condolences.
