Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held talks in Ankara on Wednesday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Saudi royal had arrived in Turkey, the third and final stop of a tour of the region that had taken him to Egypt and Jordan.
Erdogan welcomed him at the presidential complex in Ankara and formal reception was thrown in his honor.
He is set to hold talks with the Turkish leader on political and economic affairs. A number of agreements are expected to be signed during the visit.
Crown Prince Mohammed and Erdogan are expected to address means to boost trade and tourism between their countries and discuss increasing cooperation in a range of sectors, including health and the defense industry.
Erdogan had paid a visit to Saudi Arabia in April with the aim of boosting relations.
