Riyadh is scheduled to host on Tuesday the third edition of the Gulf Entrepreneurs Forum, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat).
The forum will be held under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, in the presence of several ministers of commerce and industry in the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The forum targets GCC entrepreneurs and financing institutions in the Gulf with the aim of enabling entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs to expand at the GCC level.
The third edition also seeks to reach investment opportunities and benefit from successful entrepreneur expertise, in addition to exchanging expertise among stakeholders and discussing its challenges, as well as highlighting available financing opportunities and alternatives and the best solutions to face challenges and encourage innovation to enhance economic growth.
Events of the forum include several meetings and sessions, including the experience of GCC States in business incubators, discussing the potential of the financing and venture capital environment for entrepreneurs in GCC countries, the impact of entrepreneurship and innovation on food and environmental security of GCC countries, checking on entrepreneurial opportunities in the GCC, challenges facing entrepreneurs, and expansion in Gulf countries.
The forum also includes field visits and tours during which guests are closely familiarized with the Kingdom’s most important landmarks of the entrepreneurial environment and an integrated entrepreneurial program that includes panel discussions and workshops.
The annual meeting concludes with an open discussion among concerned ministers and entrepreneurs.
