Saturday Night Takeaway fans were left confused during the latest instalment of the ITV show, as many had expected to see hitmaker Michael Bublé on their screens.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returned for another dose of Saturday evening fun and gags on the hit ITV show.
Millions of fans have been tuning in every weekend to see Ant and Dec in action, since the pair's award-winning programme made its return last month.
When the Geordie duo opened the first half of the show they welcomed their musical guest Sam Fender to the stage, even cheekily making fun of his BBC Breakfast appearance last year.
The fellow Geordie appeared on the morning programme while nursing a raging hangover after celebrating the sale of his beloved Newcastle United Football Club.
But as the 27-year-old singer appeared on the show, several Saturday Night Takeaway fans took to Twitter to say TV listings of the show had billed Michael Bublé as the musical guest.
One fan wrote: “I just want to know why Michael Bublé isn’t on tonight,” alongside a string of crying emojis.
Another wrote: “Sam Fender?? But the TV listings say Michael Bublé !! Liiiieees,” before jokingly adding: “ We get it, Buble only appears at Xmas.”
Another social media user wrote: “Why did my TV guide say Michael Bublé is performing when it's really Sam Fender that's performing?” as another chimed: “Why isn’t Michael Bublé on??”
Elsewhere on the show, viewers were left disappointed after the Geordie duo confirmed that the ITV show will be cancelled next weekend.
Ant and Dec announced that the next instalment of Takeaway will be in two weeks time, with Ant telling the studio audience: "You may have heard some of you there's no show next week because of the rugby."
The schedule shake-up is to make way for live Six Nations Rugby coverage, but fans took to Twitter to bemoan the decision.
Six Nations Live will run on ITV on Saturday, March 19 as England take on France.
This comes as Stephen Mulhern's doctor has ordered him off Saturday Night Takeaway for the third week running.
The 44-year-old TV presenter wrote on Twitter: “Hello all, Sorry I’ve been quiet on here recently and thank you for all your lovely messages.
“I’ve had some time off and been resting up on doctors orders. I’m on the mend, I’m happy to say, and looking forward to getting back to work soon. In the meantime...
“I’ll put my feet up and watch Saturday Night Takeaway tonight with the rest of you lot. Please don’t miss me too much! Lots of love, Stephen. X”
