Saturday Night Takeaway bosses have confirmed that Stephen Mulhern will be back on the show after a lengthy absence.
Fans raised concerns when they hadn't seen him on the show for a few weeks. The TV presenter responded as he said he was 'resting up on doctor's orders'.
Taking to Twitter he explained his absences. He wrote: "Hello all, Sorry I’ve been quiet on here recently and thank you for all your lovely messages. I’ve had some time off and been resting up on doctors orders."

He added: "I’m on the mend, I’m happy to say, and looking forward to getting back to work soon. In the meantime, I’ll put my feet up and watch Saturday Night Takeaway tonight with the rest of you lot. Please don’t miss me too much! Lots of love, Stephen. X"
But now, ITV have confirmed that Stephen will be making his return to the show hosted by Ant and Dec. He will be joining them again on Saturday night (March 26). A spokesperson for ITV said: "Stephen Mulhern is back with brand new Ant vs Dec and Michael Bublé will be with us for a very special End of the Show Show."
Fans were quick to support the presenter during his time off. They commented on his Twitter post with well wishes. Sarah said: "Thank Goodness! I've been so worried about you! I even emailed like a total stalker. Health comes first, Always. Sending all the love your way mister. Love, light and healing. Xxx"
Dolly said: "Aw sorry to hear you've not been well. missing seeing you on Takeaway but you need to think of yourself. Speedy recovery and take care." Liz added: "Good to hear you are resting and listening to your doctor. I can't wait to see you back on TV, you are a very talented young man who bring lots of laughter to our homes. Sending you love and health Stephen."
