Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed that no Serie A clubs are in talks with the Italian outfit over a move for Gianluca Scamacca. However, he did confirm that there's interest from abroad.
As cited by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Carnevali told Sky Italy: "We had no contact with PSG in the last ten days for this Scamacca deal. Also, I can say that there are no talks with Serie A clubs."
"We could have contacts with other clubs from abroad for Scamacca, there's interest."

One of the European clubs previously linked with a move for the striker is Arsenal. The north London outfit are in the midst of a busy summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Experienced American goalkeeper Matt Turner, Brazilian youngster Marquinhos and Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira have all been signed, whilst Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus appears to be edging ever closer to a move from the Etihad to the Emirates.
As Eddie Nketiah extended his contract with the club last month, a transfer for Scamacca in this window seems unlikely given Jesus' imminent arrival. Time will tell, of course, but it looks as though the Serie A club are open to selling him at least.
