A star of TV's SAS: Who Dares Wins has been questioned by police over allegations made by an ex-girlfriend.
SAS hero Colin Maclachlan, 41, was quizzed three weeks ago after the woman complained about him to Channel 4, which makes the hit show. They told her to go to the police.
She and the Scottish soldier dated briefly when she contacted him via social media after watching him put 30 contestants through SAS-style training on the show last year.
A source said: “They arranged to meet and went out for a while but later she contacted police.”

Channel 4 was negotiating with Colin over his contract for a second series when the allegations surfaced.
A spokesman said he will not be back but said the decision was not linked to the separate police probe.
He said: “We often change casting and Colin Maclachlan will not be taking part in the second series.”
Dad-of-two Colin, who spent 16 years in the Armed Forces, was a major figure in the first series.
During an illustrious military career, the tough guy was captured and threatened with execution behind enemy lines in Basra, Iraq, in 2006.
His captors stripped him naked, beat him, frequently rammed a gun in to the back of his head and pulled the trigger in mock executions.
He only survived long enough to be rescued by British troops because the terrorists holding him wanted to film his suffering
He also took part in notorious 2000 SAS mission Operation Certain Death in Sierra Leone – now regarded as one of the elite unit’s most dangerous expeditions – to rescue 12 captured British servicemen held by 400 drug-fuelled guerrilla fighters in
the region.
On the show he tried to recreate the intensity of life in the SAS for contestants, who battle through a mocked-up recruitment process to see if they have what it takes to make the grade.
Colin denies any wrongdoing but declined to comment on the allegations.
The police are still investigating before they decide whether to pursue the woman’s complaint.
