Underfire Port coach Sarawut Treephan on Friday called on his men to keep fighting ahead of their trip to Thai League 1 leaders Buriram United on Saturday.
From title contenders, Port have gone downhill since the 2021-22 season resumed last month with only one win in eight games.
They were embarrassed at home in Thai League 1 last weekend when they lost 2-1 to bottom club Chiangmai United.
"We had talks this week and I told the players that we must keep fighting to return to winning ways," Sarawut said.
"The most important thing now is confidence. We must bring back our confidence. We must have faith in ourselves and fight until the end."
Port, who are 13 points off the pace after 21 games in Thai League 1, have been knocked out of both the League Cup and FA Cup.
Buriram are eight points ahead of Bangkok United after defeating Samut Prakan 1-0 last week with Jonathan Bolingi scoring the winner.
The Thunder Castle have targeted a clean sweep of three domestic major trophies. They reached the FA Cup semi-finals after beating Nongbua 4-1 in midweek.
Meanwhile, Pathum United will be out for revenge on Saturday when they host Police Tero who eliminated the Rabbits in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.
