Conor explained to HELLO! Magazine: "Sarah was one of the nicest customers I've had in a while.
"She noticed we were super busy, asked if I was short-staffed, and jokingly offered to help in the kitchen, as I was cooking and running food.
“She seemed to know a lot about our business, and clearly had done her due diligence."
He also revealed what the famous family ordered: “Cauli wings and salmon sashimi to share. I sent an extra plate of sashimi as they seemed to love the first one. This gesture was met with amazed delight. They really appreciated it. Especially the kids."
And when she was leaving, the 57-year-old actress gave the owner a hug before she left.
Conor added: "Both Sarah and Matthew were happy to converse with anyone and everyone."
Sarah and her Hollywood actor husband Matthew have spent a lot of time in their Donegal home throughout the years. The pair enjoy everything from the stunning coastlines to the GAA.
Matthew Broderick even has a GAA tournament in his name, The Broderick Cup, which is an underage GAA tournament created in memory of Matthew’s parents, James and Patricia Broderick, who holidayed in south Donegal often and were massive supporters of the local club.
Matthew, Sarah and their three kids, James 19, and twins Marion and Tabitha, 13, presented medals and the winning trophy to the winners earlier this month.
The New Yorkers regularly escape the fast paced city life and head to the Hills of Donegal.
The couple’s Kilcar cottage has been in Matthew’s family for over 40 years. They are often spotted in local restaurants and shops, where they are rarely bothered.
