Sarah Ferguson has revealed her plans to celebrate King Charles' Coronation after learning she would not be attending his official crowning next month.
The Duchess of York, 63, will not make the guest list for the historic event at Westminster Abbey on May 6, it was reported last week.
The King is said to have decided against inviting his former sister-in-law to the ceremony, despite her still sharing a home with Prince Andrew and seemingly being welcomed back into the royal fold. Her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will also be at the official event.
Instead, she will be given a key role as a "VIP attendee" at Charles' Coronation concert at Windsor Castle, joined by other royals believed to include her daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
While appearing on ITV's Loose Women last month, she was asked about her plans for the big day after saying she may not be invited to the ceremony because she has now split from the Duke of York.
Fergie said: “I will be having a little tea room and putting out the bunting. I love to watch it on the telly because the commentators are always good."
She also revealed her plans to take the late Queen's corgis with her to a nearby nursing home and celebrate with them.
And during an event in New York to promote her latest romance novel, Fergie admitted that she had not yet received an invitation.

But she shrugged it off and told of what she will be doing instead if she is not picked to be inside Westminster Abbey.
She explained: "Well I've decided the best thing about being British around a coronation - although I've never been to one - I think we should, I should set up a tea room at the bottom of the drive with bunting and cakes."
A royal insider said that Fergie did not expert an invite to the official Coronation ceremony, but was "delighted to join the wider family for the Coronation concert".
They told The Sun.: "She cherishes those more relaxed times with the family and, contrary to some reports, is fully accepting of the situation.
"She did, of course, join the family for the Sandringham Christmas celebrations, so it’s clear there is no ill will in either direction. Quite the contrary."
Fergie also spoke of her support for the King and Queen Consort Camilla, who will be dropping the Consort part of her title when the Coronation takes place.
"I have known both the King and the Queen Consort since I was a child," she told OK! magazine.
"I think if you look at the King's track record in areas like the environment, where he was decades ahead of his time, and the Prince's Trust, it's clear what an extraordinary man he is and how fortunate we are to have him on the throne."
All of the working royals will be present at the ceremony, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children Prince George - who will be a page of honour - Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Others attending will include Prince Edward and Sophie - the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh - Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of York and Princess Alexandra.
Meanwhile, wider family members expected to be there will include the likes of Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Zara and Mike Tindall - but they won't appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the ceremony.
And following months of speculation, it has now been confirmed that Prince Harry will be at the Coronation - although his wife Meghan will stay behind in California with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
