Samsung released its S23 Ultra at the beginning of this year as the bigger model out of its newest flagship range. Now the retailer is offering any shopper who buys the top tier model a free pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro, worth £219. It's another money-saving tech offer from the brand, that seems to set the bar high compared to rival tech companies.
Anyone who buys the S23 Utra handset from Samsung will receive a free pair of the buds which are the newest pair in Samsung's line-up of Galaxy Bud products. Released at the end of 2022, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro are a wireless upgrade from the Galaxy Buds 2.
The smart earphones are said to be lighter than their predecessors and more comfortable for in-ear wear, and fitted with an upgraded active noise cancelling tech too. The pair are also fitted with Dolby Head Tracking, a piece of tech which tracks sound for users as they move their head, creating a surround sound experience no matter the movement, be it walking, running or at the gym.
It's not the only offer up for grabs on the S23 Ultra either, as anyone with an old Samsung phone can trade in to get at least £150 off the S23 Ultra price as well as a free pair of earphones. Both the trade-in deal and free pair of earphones are available on all three models of the S23 Ultra; the £1,249 256GB device, the £1,399 512GB device and the biggest 1TB device which costs £1,599.
Those who make the most of the offer and trade in a device before buying the S23 Ultra would walk away with a saving of at least £360 in the deal, a saving currently not seen by any other major retailers including rivals at Apple.
Buying the S23 Ultra from Samsung could be compared to buying the biggest model in the latest iPhone 14 range, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Priced from £1,199 the 6.7-inch display device is the biggest and most up-to-date handset in the series.
Even though Apple's biggest iPhone 14 range handset is £50 cheaper compared to Samsung's leading device it can't beat the Galaxy tech when it comes to offering an unbeatable deal. Those who buy the iPhone 14 Pro Max are currently offered between £150 and £590 in credit when they trade in an iPhone 11 or higher.
Not only is this a similar trade-in reward to Samsung, with a higher starting price of £170, but Apple also put a restriction on the trade-in model compared to Samsung's 'old smartphone' requirement.
