Outlander star Sam Heughan has shared a photo of himself with a fan, posing with a homemade denim jacket with a rather unique image on the back.
Scottish actor Sam was on hand at the annual Highlanders event that took place at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel from July 1 to July 3 2022. The actor met up and signed autographs for fans, and even got some surprises of his own.

One excited fan posted her photo with Sam on social media, writing in the caption: "@SamHeughan. Back from my holidays in Scotland. What a beautiful country you have!! Hope you liked my jacket!! #Highlanders5."
Sam can be seen smiling and pointing to the back of the fans jacket, which bares a hand-painted portrait of himself as Outlander's Jamie Fraser. Sam retweeted the photo, replying: "Haha terrific! I need one with your face on!"
Fans flocked to the replies of Sam's Twitter to add their thoughts to the jacket design. One Twitter user wrote: "You know you will need a truck to leave the next convention now, you’ll have more jackets with fans faces than you ever bargained."
Another said: "Sam, careful what you wish for. You may soon have a wardrobe filled with tee-shirts sporting fan-faces, much much more than you bargained for!"
And a third wrote: "Please follow up and let us know how many jackets with fan's faces on them you get offered in the next year."
More comments read: "Nice no sure I would wear you on me sorry still a great fan though."
And others commented: "You could start a fashion statement Sam. Oh wait you already do with everything you wear or do."
Finally, one concluded: "Oh I see a trend. Next time fans will show up with Jamie or Sam’s pictures on their jackets and a gift jacket for Sam with the fan’s picture on……"
Sam is currently filming for season seven of Outlander, to premiere on StarzTV in the coming months.
