Sam Heughan has revealed his must see place in Scotland is one of the Outlander filming locations.
Sam, 41, who plays Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in Diana Gabaldon's fantasy series, reckons Glencoe should be the number one choice for visitors to Scotland.
The Scots actor, originally from Balmaclellan in Dumfries and Galloway, added that the first scene of Outlander's sixth season was shot in the highland village, for Jamie Fraser's flashback to introduce Tom Christie.
During a Q&A session with Sony, Sam answered fans most burning questions from Twitter.
One fan asked: "Where is the one place you would say a person must see in Scotland or New Zealand?"
Sam responded: "You've asked the right question, if you've watched my other show, which is not Outlander, it's Men in Kilts, you might have seen some great places to visit in Scotland.
"The new season of Men in Kilts is in New Zealand.
"I would say one of each. Glencoe is a must see in Scotland.
"It's where we shot the very first scene of this season of Outlander in a flashback with Jamie Fraser back to Ardsmuir.
"In New Zealand I would say it has to be Milford Sound, which is an incredible, incredible place."
Sam works on Men In Kilts with his Outlander co-star Graham McTavish, as well as penning two books together as well.
The two Scotsmen make a hilarious double act as fans watched them explore and learn throughout Scotland in season one, and soon to be New Zealand as well.
The filming for Men in Kilts season two took place in early 2022, as Sam and Graham kept fans updated on their travels on social media - without giving too much of the show away.
The Text For You actor also revealed he's visited the North Carolina mountains where Fraser's Ridge was set.
He revealed he's visited Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and "would love to go back" to see more.
The cheeky Scotsman also teased he'd like an invitation to the Grandfather Mountain highland games, reportedly the biggest in the world.
Men In Kilts season two is expected to be released in late 2022, or early 2023 at the latest.
