Sam Fender has revealed to Lorraine Kelly why he once turned down Ariana Grande, after being invited to play the world famous singer's boyfriend in one of her music videos.
As voting launches for this year's Brit Awards, with Sam up for three accolades, the North Shields singer appeared on the ITV show to reflect on what an amazing year he's had, talking about everything from going fishing with Robson Green to getting Time and Line of Duty star Stephen Graham to appear in the video for his song Spit of You.
And that's on top of Sam's second album Seventeen Going Under outselling the rest of the top 10 combined as it shot straight to number 1 in the autumn and him packing out countless venues, including Newcastle's Utilita Arena, on his tour at the end of the year.
