Two Sam Fender superfans who met at one of the star's concerts in the United States have travelled across the pond for his homecoming gigs in Newcastle.
Charly Lollis, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Hannah Schmidt, of Oklahoma, met at one of Sam Fender's shows in New York City last summer. And as soon as the tickets went up for sale in October, they set about planning their trip.
They secured tickets for both nights and can't wait to see their idol yet again.

Charly told ChronicleLive: "It's not just Sam, it's the whole band. They all have an energy together, you can tell they're good friends.
"The lyrics resonate the most with me, they're powerful lyrics. He's actually saying something!"
And the pair are loving their time in the North East.
Charly said: "I have travelled to the UK quite a bit but this is the first time I have made it to the North East. It's lovely, I will come back for sure.
"Sam related or not! But Sam would be a bonus."
