Sam Faiers says school holidays have been 'chaotic' and 'intense' in honest parenting Q&A

Sam Faiers has said that the school holidays have been "a little chaotic" in a candid Q&A, with the mother-of-three looking forward to getting back into more of a routine.

The reality TV star, 31, and her partner Paul Knightley, 34, have three young children together, as they are proud parents to Paul Jr., six, Rosie, four, and three-month-old Edward.

The family, who live in Surrey, have been enjoying spending time together over the summer, and Sam has been sharing updates from their adventures on her Instagram account.

The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) star has, however, admitted this week that juggling family activities with work over the summer holidays has been an "intense" experience.

Sam opened up in a Q&A with her followers on the platform yesterday and one fan asked how the family are doing. She responded: "We're all doing very well, thank you."

She continued: "The summer holidays have been a little chaotic. Looking forward to a bit of routine when the kids go back to school in a couple of weeks".

The Celebrity Big Brother star – who has a podcast with her sister Billie Faiers, 32, and is co-founder of a collagen drinks brand – added: "The juggle has been intense".

It wasn't the only question about her family that Sam, who appeared on TOWIE from 2010 until 2014, responded to during the Q&A with her followers last night.

Asked for an update about newborn son Edward, she revealed that it has been a "tough" few days with the baby because he has been showing signs of teething recently.

Sam, who has teased the possibility of having a fourth child, explained: "So we've had some restless nights." She added: "Sore nips, back ache and sleep deprived".

Earlier this month, Sam celebrated Edward being 3 months old with a post on the platform – in which she said that recent months have been an "emotional rollercoaster".

She also said: "It just amazes me how quickly they develop. [...] The newborn baby smell has faded away, the nights aren't as tough and I'm getting [some time to myself]".

The reality TV star further commented: "As much as it feels a little easier juggling three [children] as time is passing, it's equally so sad". She encouraged: "Cherish everyday".
