Sam Faiers has revealed she doesn't share a bed with her long-term partner and it's been that way for several years.
The mum-of-three, 32, says she and Paul Knightley sleep in separate rooms with different children and it's simply a routine her family 'have never gotten out of.'
Former TOWIE star Sam and Paul have welcomed children Paul Jr, seven, Rosie, five, and Edward, eight months into the world together since they first started dating in 2014.
Speaking to comedians Josh Widdicombe and Rob Beckett alongside sister Billie Faiers, Sam explains her family set-up and what works best for them.
"Me and Paul haven't shared a bed for six years. We're still in separate rooms," the star confesses on the Parenting Hell podcast.
"I'm in the spare room with Edward, who I've recently got into the cot, but he's still in the room with just me."
Sam - who was once engaged to Dancing On Ice star Joey Essex - goes on to reveal her older children sleep in the master bedroom with her partner Paul, as she kips next to their youngest child.
The reality TV adds how it's a routine her family "have just never gotten out of".
Sam goes on to recall: "Before [youngest child] Edward came along it was just like two and two - like one adult and one child.
"And we've never kind of gotten out of it."
The podcast hosts cheekily asked the mum-of-three how she and Paul managed to conceive more children due to their sleeping arrangements.
"You have to be inventive I guess," Sam admits before adding: "It kind of works, but it is getting a bit much now."
Sam and Paul have been together for almost a decade but despite sharing three children together, the pair are yet to get engaged.
But Sam apparently 'isn't bothered' her long-term partner hasn't popped the question yet.
"Sam won’t feel pressured into doing things just to please people - she doesn't mind that they're still not engaged," a source close to the star told OK! magazine in 2021, as the star prepared to welcome her third child into the world.
"She is concentrating on the family and probably hopes to get married once she has stopped having kids."
Last year, Sam admitted on her own podcast that she feels "a lot of pressure" to tie the knot but doesn't understand what the big rush is.
"We've had a lot of pressure from people who watch our show and people ask 'why aren't you married yet, when is it going to happen?" Sam explained on The Sam and Billie podcast.
She went on to tell her sister: "I know we will get married – but I'm so grateful that we have it all to look forward to and in our relationship, we've done the hardest bit (having kids). It is a big challenge and change for a couple."
