Salman Khan will NOT make a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Again'; fans say 'disappointed'

Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Again', one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, has been the subject of much speculation, especially regarding its star-studded cast.

With the release date of the film drawing close, social media was abuzz with rumours that Salman Khan would be joining the cop universe as his iconic Chulbul Pandey from the 'Dabangg' franchise.

Just last week, word spread of the actor possibly starring in the film in a cameo role. A picture believed to have been a 'leak' from the sets sparked off the frenzy. However, it was later confirmed that the still was not from the sets, but rather from a TV ad.

However, rumours of Salman entering the cop franchise began doing the rounds again on Friday, suggesting that he will make an appearance alongside Ajay Devgn's Bajirao Singham. It was just a matter of time before the rumours were shot down by various news portals, confirming that Salman would 'not' be joining the cast.

The update left many fans 'disappointed' as they took to the comments to post sad face emoticons.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Singham Again' will feature an ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor as new additions. Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to reprise her role, while Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will return as Simmba and Sooryavanshi, respectively. The film is slated for a Diwali 2024 release, where it will clash with Kartik Aaryan’s 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.

Though Salman won’t be part of 'Singham Again', fans can still look forward to seeing him making a cameo in Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John'. His next film 'Sikandar', is slated to hit the big screen on Eid 2025.
