Sainsbury's shoppers warned as soup pulled from shelves

A soup, sold at Sainsbury's, has been recalled amid allergy fears.

Itsu (grocery) is recalling chilled Itsu Noodle Soup Veg Gyoza and Greens because some packs have been mispacked with a prawn gyoza that contains crustaceans, which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans.

Itsu has also issued a recall notice to its customers, which explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product.

Sainsbury's said: "Please do not consume this product with these use by dates if you have an allergy or intolerance to crustaceans or are vegetarian/vegan. If you have bought the above-mentioned product, we advise you not to open it.
