Supermarket shoppers have voiced their frustration at how much a pack of fish fingers could cost them. Over the last few months shoppers have seen food prices increasing in supermarkets, and now Sainsbury's customers are stunned that a pack of fish fingers could cost them £7 for a packet.
Weighing at 840g, the packet of Birds Eye Cod Fish Fingers was being sold at Sainsbury's for £7. Shoppers took to social media to share their disbelief, reports The Manchester Evening News.
One Sainsbury's shopper wrote on Twitter that after seeing the price they “nearly fell to my knees." Another user simply wrote: “£7? Jesus soon reach."
