Sagar university scam: MP high court issues notices to UGC, ministry of higher education

BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh high court issued notices to the University Grants Commission, ministry of higher education seeking their reply while hearing a PIL regarding non-compliance of a previous order issued by the court and findings of an executive committee regarding irregularities in appointment of nearly 157 assistant professors by the Hari Singh Gaur Sagar central university in 2013.

The petition was filed by a Sagar-based Arvind Bhatt who had been fighting against corruption within the university campus.
