Sadio Mane posted a message for Virgil van Dijk on social media after the Liverpool forward scored the Reds' second goal in the 3-1 win over Benfica in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final in Lisbon on Tuesday night.
The Liverpool duo have been having a bit of banter between each other after Senegal and the Netherlands were drawn in the same group for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Van Dijk revealed on Monday in his pre-match press conference that he called Mane after the draw was made.
Mohamed Salah was also amongst the Liverpool players to have reacted to the win over Benfica on social media after posting a picture with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson beside him in the recovery pool at 2am.

Mane posted on his Instagram account a picture of himself and Van Dijk with the captain: "Big man, we're still friends until..."
The Liverpool number four turned attention to Sunday's huge match with Manchester City in the Premier League with his post: "A good result to take back to Anfield. The focus now turns to Sunday."
Fabinho took to his social media account to post a celebratory picture of him dancing with Luis Diaz after the Colombian made it 3-1 late on: "Mood with the win. Great way to get the quarter finals started, but the job is not done yet. Let's keep it going, Reds!"
Diogo Jota, who is a hero in Portugal after helping his national side secure World Cup qualification, kept it short and sweet after coming on as a second half substitute: "Very important away win."
