An abandoned building which is located in a housing estate has been called an 'eyesore' by local residents who claim to have seen rats running round the site.
The social club, located in Locharbriggs closed its doors for the past time in September 2020 after serving the community for more than 40 years. The association which was once popular was closed as it was deemed no longer financially viable.
The property that the club used to be in has been lying empty and unfortunately has fallen into a state of disrepair. Residents have claimed that the area around the establishment is being used as a "dumping ground" with waste being set on fire frequently and children using it as a "playpark," reports the Daily Record.
