The death certificate for S Club 7's Paul Cattermole has revealed the star died from multiple heart problems. The form confirms the musician, from Wareham in Dorset, died on April 6 at the age of 46.
The news came just weeks after the group announced they were preparing for a major comeback tour. A coroner's service spokesperson has told the Express that investigations into Paul's death concluded he died of natural causes.
In the death certificate, obtained by the Express, the form says Paul died from a "cardiac arrhythmia, acute myocardial ischaemia and severe coronary artery atheroma and intraplaque haemorrhage". An arrhythmia is a problem with the rate or rhythm of a person's heartbeat making it difficult to effectively pump blood to other parts of the body, according to the NHS.

Myocardial ischemia, meanwhile, is when reduced blood flow to a person's heart keeps the heart from getting enough oxygen, impeding its ability to properly pump blood, per the Mayo Clinic. This typically happens when arteries are blocked and a fatty material builds up inside arteries.
Fellow S Club 7 members paid tribute Paul in the days after his death, including Rachel Stevens who said: "He's always going to be with us. He was such a big part of this tour, so involved in everything that we are planning. And we are just going to keep his memory alive and share it with all of you and it's going to make it even more special."
Bradley McIntosh said he was in "disbelief" over losing the group's "big brother". He said: "No one could ever replace our Paul, but he lives on inside each and every one of us."
