TV star Rylan Clark has been caught up in loan move banter with Dundee United supporters. The online chat was triggered after the popular presenter posed for a photo with star player Ryan Edwards this week.
After the pic of the pair appeared on the Arab Trust Twitter page, a group moderator asked if he could ‘play on the wing’.
The former X Factor contestant has become a surprising face of Scottish football as an ambassador for the SPFL's main sponsors cinch.
His catchphrase at the end of the car company's adverts 'cinched it' has been adopted as a phrase for moments gone pear-shaped in the game.
He has jetted into Scotland for promotional material and took snaps at the Falkirk Stadium.
He posed alongside all the Premiership captains, including Ryan Edwards, but not including Rangers' James Tavernier after the Ibrox side were excused last month from the cinch sponsorship deal due to a previous commercial agreement in place with Park’s of Hamilton.
Earlier this year, when Kelty Hearts wrapped up the fourth tier by defeating Stenhousemuir and Cove Rangers were promoted to the Championship, Rylan took to Twitter to tell both clubs they've "cinched it".
He even answered when a follower questioned if he was paid every time he said the catchphrase, replying: "F****** wish I did."
