Rylan Clark praised for honest admission on ITV's This Morning

Rylan Clark was praised for being real and honest while being interviewed on This Morning.

The ITV show aired a flashback clip showing Rylan finding his fame on X Factor - where he first met Dermot O'Leary. The This Morning host said: "I am so proud of you" as the montage came to an end.

They went on to discuss how Rylan has written a book to mark 10 years in the showbiz industry. He has simply named it "Ten".

Alison Hammond asked: "What made you want to pen this out?" Rylan replied: "The money...." The TV host burst out laughing at his blunt honesty.

Fans on Twitter loved his truthfulness. Victoria said: "Least he’s honest saying it’s for the money #ThisMorning."

Sue said: "At least he's honest. The money #thismorning." Peter said: "Good Lad. At least he’s truthful #ThisMorning."

Rylan went on to offer a more serious explanation as he said: "I didn't think I was going to last 10 minutes never mind 10 years. I thought I want to do something for me, so it's about like lessons that I have learnt along the way."
